Our Mission and Heart
At Love & Latitude, we’re helping bridge the gap between traditional therapy settings and real-world experiences by providing compassionate, individualized community support where life actually happens. Whether it’s grocery shopping, attending a family gathering, visiting the park, going to a doctor’s appointment, or participating in community events, we help individuals and families navigate everyday situations with greater confidence.
We welcome families seeking additional support during community outings, everyday activities, and special events, regardless of diagnosis or ability. Our services are designed to meet each individual where they are, promoting independence, inclusion, confidence, and meaningful participation in the community.
We proudly support children and individuals with developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, physical disabilities, autism, ADHD, sensory differences, and other unique support needs. We also recognize that some families simply need an extra helping hand to make outings safer, smoother, and more enjoyable.
Our mission is to empower families by providing person-centered community support that complements—not replaces—the valuable work being done by parents, caregivers, educators, and therapy providers. Together, we help create opportunities for success beyond the walls of a clinic, because real life is where confidence is built, relationships grow, and lasting memories are made.
We provide empathetic and inclusive community support for families and children with disabilities.

Founder Philosophy
Hi, I’m Shakierra! I was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, and moved to Texas in 2010. Growing up, I was surrounded by a family that showed me the importance of connection, celebration, and showing up for one another. Whether we were celebrating big milestones or the small victories in life, my family created a foundation built on love, support, and togetherness.
In 2023, I became a Registered Behavior Technician supporting children with autism, and in 2024, I began pursuing my bachelor’s degree in psychology with a focus on child and adolescent development. Through my experiences working alongside individuals and families, I recognized a gap in traditional support systems: families often have the tools and services they need in clinical settings, but they still face challenges when bringing those skills into everyday community experiences.
My vision is to help families create meaningful memories without being limited by stress, safety concerns, or accessibility barriers. Our goal is not to replace essential services such as ABA therapy, occupational therapy, or speech therapy, but to extend support beyond those settings by helping individuals and families confidently participate in real-life experiences within their communities.
I believe every family deserves the opportunity to celebrate, explore, and grow together. Through compassionate, individualized community support, we are creating more opportunities for connection, inclusion, and lifelong memories.
